To enable women to become self-reliant, do their work, etc., sewing machines are being given free of cost by the government to eligible women. Which women can get the benefit?
Women whose age is 20 to 40 years
Women who are economically weak
Women who live in urban areas
Women who live in rural areas
The income of husbands of laboring women should not be more than Rs 12 thousand.
These documents are required:-
Aadhar card
Date of birth certificate
Income certificate
Passport size photo
An active mobile number
Certificate related to disability or widowhood.

Step 1
If you are eligible, you have to first visit the official portal india.gov.in
By going here you have to download the application form for a free sewing machine.
Then fill out this form, in which you are asked for your information.
Step 2
After this, attach copies of the required documents with the form.
Then you have to go to the concerned office and submit the form.
There will be verification here and after everything is found correct, you are given a free sewing machine.
