Meta-owned social media app Instagram has launched a new and very useful feature. You will now be able to edit Instagram messages, although there will be a time limit for this. Meta has said that the new feature will save users from typo mistakes.
After the new update of Instagram, messages sent in Direct Message (DM) can be edited for 15 minutes. If you do not edit a message for 15 minutes, you will not be able to edit it after that. Before the introduction of this feature, there was only the option to delete messages containing typos or messages sent by mistake.
How to edit a message sent on Instagram?
Update your Instagram app before using this feature.
Press and hold the message you want to edit for a while. After that, you will see the edit option.
Click on it and edit the message.
