Meta-owned social media app Instagram is about to release another major update. After this new update of Instagram, users will be able to change the background image with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), although this feature is currently being tested.
This new feature of Instagram has been named ‘Backdrop’. This information has been given by Ahmed Al Dhale, Head of Generative AI of Meta. Currently, the backdrop feature is available only for US users.
With the help of this feature, users will be able to change the background image in a single tap. This will not require any other stock images. To change the background image, users will have to give a prompt like other AI tools.
For example, if you want an image of a dinosaur in the background, you can use the chased by dinosaurs prompt. Apart from this, you can use prompt as per your need.
After the new update, users will have the option of Trying it while sharing stories. After clicking on it, you will get the option to change the background image. Regarding the new feature, it is claimed that the background image changed by AI will be very accurate and professional.
