It is the responsibility of parents to inculcate good hygiene habits in their children, because it is related to both their health and lifestyle. As children grow up, they start insisting on bathing themselves. When you bathe them, you take full care of their cleanliness. But they cannot bathe properly at this age, which can put them at risk of many diseases. Similarly, the immunity of children is much weaker than ours and in such a situation, even a little negligence towards health can make them sick. Therefore, it would be better if you take special care of children's hygiene and teach them body hygiene habits from a young age.

Cleanliness of hands
Its very important to stay healthy. There are many types of bacteria and viruses on our hands. These bacteria and viruses reach inside our bodies most easily through our hands. Therefore, teach children to keep their hands clean from an early age. Make it a habit for them to clean their hands thoroughly before and after eating food. They should clean their hands thoroughly with soap after playing, touching animals, meeting patients, and coming home from outside.

Pay attention to teeth
After the teeth of children come, teach them to clean them properly. Apart from this, rinse after eating anything, brush before sleeping, and forbid them from putting any unwanted thing in their mouth. The habit of keeping teeth clean will protect them from cavities. Also, inculcate the habit of drinking as much water as possible in children. This will prevent bad breath and they will remain hydrated throughout the day.

The toilet in the washroom
is also one of the places where most diseases spread. Therefore, teach children to use the toilet cleanly from a young age so that they do not get any disease. Tell them how to use the toilet without making it dirty, as well as how to clean themselves after going to the toilet and how to wash their hands properly.

Keep cutting nails
After a certain age, children start feeling shy about taking bath with you. Therefore, inculcate a habit of bathing in them daily and during this time teach them how to keep the body clean, such as cleaning hands, feet, hair, and other parts. Keep cutting the nails of children from time to time and inculcate a habit of keeping them short. This habit will prevent dirt or bacteria from accumulating in their nails while playing or eating. Teenage girls need special attention. They should be told about the use and cleanliness of sanitary napkins. For at least 20 seconds,

Dr. Nausheen Siddiqui, Senior Resident of the Department of Pediatrics at Delhi's Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, says, that for personal hygiene, you should take special care of the cleanliness of children. Our skin protects us from germs, for which we must bathe 2-3 times a week. After cleaning the ears with water, they should be wiped with a dry towel. Hands should be washed continuously with soap for at least 20 seconds. To avoid body odor, use clean clothes, socks, and undergarments. You should pay special attention to your cleanliness after defecation so that infection does not occur. Cut nails after bathing once a week. Cut the nails of the hands in a round shape and the nails of the feet straight, so that there is no problem of ingrown nails.
