Use Baking soda

You must have used baking soda not once but many times for cooking, cleaning stains from clothes, cleaning tiles or keeping insects away from the garden. In such a situation, let us tell you that the ants flying in the monsoon seem to be more around the lights, so you can use them. Follow these steps-

  • First of all, put 2-3 spoons of baking soda in a cup of water and mix it well.
  • Now add 1 teaspoon salt or 1 teaspoon lemon juice to it and mix it well.
  • After this fill the mixture in a spray bottle.
  • Now spray the place and the wall where the bulb or tube light is installed and leave it.
  • Ants flying due to their strong odour will never enter the house.

Use Lavender oil

If you want to keep the house smelling good as well as keep the ants away during monsoon, then using lavender oil can be the best solution. By using this, the bad smell coming in monsoon will also go away. Follow these steps-

  • First of all, add 1/2 teaspoon of lavender oil in 3-4 cups of water and mix it well.
  • Now fill it in a spray bottle and sprinkle it well around the lights.
  • Due to the strong aroma, flying ants will never get involved.
  • Note: If you want, you can also soak cotton balls in the mixture and keep them around the bulb or tube light.

Use neem oil paste

Apart from flying ants, neem oil or neem paste can be the best option to drive away many other rainy insects. Because of its bitterness, the ants will run away for a while. Follow these steps-

  • First of all, put 1 cup of neem leaves in the mixer.
  • Now add 2 cups of water to it and grind it well and filter it.
  • After this, soak cotton balls well in this mixture and give them around the bulb or tubelight.
  • Note: If you want, you can also use a mixture of 1 cup of water in 1 teaspoon of neem oil.
