Today we will tell you how you can get relief from the serious problem of your feet with the help of curd. This is the problem of cracked feet, in which the heels especially start to crack. Sometimes even blood starts coming out of it. However, applying some things mixed with curd will give you a lot of relief from this problem.

Yoghurt contains lactic acid, which aids in the healing process of our skin from harsh ingredients. Yoghurt helps in making your skin feel soft, fresh and new. Just keep in mind that before trying it, do a patch test.

Homemade recipe of curd, lemon and tea tree oil

Curd can prove to be good in protecting the feet from any infection. The good bacteria in fresh curd not only kill the fungus but also soothe dry, itchy and inflamed skin. Mixing it with lemon and tea tree oil has a moisturizing effect and soothes your feet.

Ingredients Required -

  • 1/2 cup fresh curd
  • 2 drops of lemon juice
  • 3-4 drops of tea tree oil

Method to prepare and apply-

  • First of all, put lemon juice in warm water and soak your feet for some time.
  • After this, rub your feet to remove dead skin cells.
  • Now add curd, lemon juice and tea tree oil in a bowl and mix well.
  • Apply it on your feet and leave it for 30 minutes and then wash your feet with lukewarm water.
  • Take a little tea tree oil, massage it well on your ankles and wear socks.
  • Applying this oil also provides relief from any kind of pain in the feet.

Homemade recipe of curd and honey

Honey can act as a natural remedy for cracked heels. Honey has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. Several studies also suggest that honey can help heal and clean wounds and moisturize the skin. Curd also acts as an exfoliator which helps in removing dead skin cells from the feet.

Ingredients required-

  • 3 cups curd
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 teaspoon lukewarm coconut oil

What to do-

  • First of all, mix 2 cups of curd and a little lukewarm water in a bucket. Add rock salt to it and mix again.
  • Now soak your feet in this for 20 minutes and then scrub your heels with your hands.
  • After this wash and dry the feet. In the same bowl add curd and honey and mix it well.
  • Apply this mixture on your feet and keep it for 40 minutes to 1 hour, then wash the feet with lukewarm water.
  • Heat coconut oil and then massage your ankles with it and leave it overnight wearing socks.
  • Coconut oil helps in moisturizing and nourishing your skin along with relieving pain.
