JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Guidelines: The National Testing Agency will start conducting JEE Main exam session two after two days i.e. from April 4. Exams will run from 4th to 12th April. A large number of candidates have applied for the exam. NTA has issued necessary instructions for the exam from admit card to exam day guidelines. Candidates should read them properly and follow all the rules on the day of the paper. The papers will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Do not take these items with you
- Do not carry any kind of stationery like a pen, paper, geometry box etc.
- ID cards issued by schools and colleges are not valid, do not carry them.
- Carrying any kind of food items or water bottles etc. is not allowed. Diabetic students can carry water and eatables in transparent bottles.
- Never carry any kind of electronic gadget with you, even if it is a smartwatch.
- Do not carry any kind of valuables, jewellery, accessories etc. nor go to the centre with a purse or handbag.
Keep these rules in mind
- Reach the centre at least half an hour before the examination. Entry will not be granted if you are late.
- Do take the admit card and self-declaration form with you.
- Write your name and roll number on the rough sheet. Please give these to the invigilator before leaving the hall.
- Admit card, photograph, and valid ID proof must be with you on the day of examination.
- Any kind of electronic item like mobile, headphones, earbuds etc. is not allowed.
Pay attention to the dress code
- Do not wear any kind of muffler, cap or anything else on the head.
- Do not wear clothes with metallic items.
- Don't wear clothes that have too many pockets.
- Do not wear jewellery and choose simple clothes. Don't wear accessories either.
- Choose only light and loose clothes.
