Holi 2023: Dahi Bhalle is sure to be made in the salty flavors of Holi, but if you want to feed the guests something different, then serve them Masoor Dal Bhalle. Here's the recipe.
Material :
Lentils - 1 cup, Curd - 300 grams, Red chili - 1 tsp, Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp, Green chili - 1-2 chili chopped, Grated ginger - 1 tsp, Coriander - 1 tsp, Salt - as per taste oil for frying
Roasted cumin powder - 1/4 tsp, Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp, Black salt - as per taste
Method :
1. Cook the dal in the cooker till three whistles.
2. In a bowl, add chopped green chilies, and coriander leaves and mix well.
3. After this add boiled lentils and mash them. The mixture has to be whisked continuously for a few minutes, this makes the bhalle very soft.
4. After this make balls of desired shape from this paste.
5. Heat oil in a pan and fry these bhallas on low flame till they turn golden.
6. Now whisk a bowl of curd. After this, put the bhallas on a plate, add curd, cumin powder, chaat masala, and sweet chutney on top, and serve with green coriander.
