The Holi festival is coming soon. In such a situation, if you also want to make something special on this festive day, Kesar Gujiya will be a great option. It is very easy to make and it will taste very tasty as well.
Material :
two cups flour
four spoons of ghee
lost two cups
½ cup castor sugar
Two spoons of chironji:
10-12 raisins
¼ tsp soaked saffron
Method :
First of all, mix flour and ghee well and then add water to it and knead a very smooth dough.
Now to prepare the stuffing, roast 2 cups of khoya till it becomes light golden and then take it out on a plate and let it cool.
When the khoya cools down, add castor sugar, chironji, raisins, and saffron and mix well.
Now make small puris of the dough and place them in the gujiya mold.
After this, apply flour solution on the edges. Now place the prepared stuffing in the center and seal the edges tightly.
Now heat some oil in a pan and fry the gujiyas in medium hot oil till golden brown.
Finally, keep the Gujiya cool down and then store it.
