Ingredients required to make Matar Gujiya-
Maida 1 cup
Hot oil 2 tsp
Water as needed
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tablespoon
Cumin 1/2 tsp
A pinch of asafoetida
Ginger garlic green chili paste 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
Coconut grated 1/4 cup fresh
Peas 1 cup fresh
Salt to taste
Sugar 1 tsp
Oil for frying
How to make Matar Gujiya? (How To Make Matar Gujiya)
To make Matar Gujiya, first, take all-purpose flour in a bowl.
Then add salt and hot oil to it and mix it well.
After this add water as required and knead a little hard dough.
Then keep this dough covered with a cloth for 15 to 20 minutes.
After this, put some oil in a pan and heat it.
Then add cumin, asafoetida, and ginger-garlic-chilli paste and fry it for a while.
After this, mix spices like coriander, turmeric, garam masala, etc. in it.
Then add coconut and peas to it and mix well.
After this, you cook it in covered steam for about 3 to 4 minutes.
If needed, you put some water in it.
Then add sugar, salt, and lemon juice to it and mix.
After this, mash the peas a little and keep them aside.
Then make small balls of dough and roll them around.
After this, put the prepared stuffing in it and make it in the shape of Gujiya.
Then you put oil in a pan and heat it for frying.
After this, you put the prepared Gujiya in it and deep fry it till it becomes golden.
Now your crispy and spicy Matar Gujiya is ready.
Then serve it with ketchup or your favorite chutney.
