High blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides, and an increase in sugar are considered dangerous for the heart. We are making many such mistakes in daily life which increase these factors. Often these are ignored but this mistake of ours emerges as a big problem one day.

Increasing obesity has been considered a major risk factor for many other chronic diseases including heart disease, and a large population of the country is its victim.

Keep your distance from these things
Dr Tiwari says, to keep consulting your doctor regularly to know about your concerns related to heart disease and ways to reduce the risk of heart attack. Regular exercise is necessary along with a healthy and nutritious diet, but some habits need to be given up immediately. These habits cause serious damage to our heart and blood vessels and can increase the risk of heart attack manifold.

Avoid smoking cigarettes. Smoking is harmful to blood vessels.

Stay away from alcohol. Alcohol is toxic to every cell in your body.

Reduce the consumption of soft drinks as well. Studies have shown that it increases the risk of heart attack.

Avoid eating foods made from refined flour.

Do not ignore the symptoms of a heart attack

Dr. Tiwari says, symptoms like chest pain, fatigue, dizziness, cold sweat, nausea, and difficulty in breathing point to a heart attack, so do not ignore them. In these situations, take an aspirin tablet immediately and go to the nearest doctor. If emergency treatment is received in case of a heart attack, the chances of survival increase. People who have someone in their family who already has heart problems need to be more careful.

Checks every four months are necessary

Health experts say, regular checkups of heart health are necessary. Get blood and lipid profile tests done every 4 months. This helps to detect problems like cholesterol and triglyceride. Check blood pressure and sugar at least 3 times a week. If blood pressure remains high, consult a doctor. Along with maintaining a healthy diet, it is necessary to do regular exercise like walking, cycling, or swimming for 40 minutes. With the help of these measures, risks can be reduced.
