1. Aluminum foil

We like aluminium foil the most for packing food. But do you know that along with spoiling the taste of food, it also harms health and sometimes can cause cancer?

Packing food in aluminium foil can increase the amount of aluminium in food. Also, packing very hot food in aluminium foil causes it to melt, causing its elements to leach into the food. It is even more harmful to eat spicy food.

Also, avoid keeping sour foods in aluminium foil. Keeping sour fruits or foods in foil spoils their chemical balance and can become poisonous.

Storing or heating hot food in aluminium foil releases many harmful chemicals, which enter the body directly through the food. This increases the risk of stomach and mental health problems.

If the foil is not of good quality, then it contains more harmful chemicals, which can also cause serious diseases like cancer.

2. Tea Bags

Most people start their day with a cup of fresh tea in the morning. But, if you are one of those people who use tea bags for tea, then avoid doing so now. Do you know that tea bags can harm your health?

Tea bags release a lot of micro and nano plastics into hot water. Polypropylene (a type of plastic) is the worst in this. Additionally, paper tea bags contain a chemical called epichlorohydrin, which is used to prevent the tea bag from opening. Epichlorohydrin dissolves in hot water and is a carcinogen (cancer-causing substance).

3. Plastic utensils

The use of plastic is dangerous not only for the environment but also for our health. Its use increases the risk of cancer in the body. Therefore, we should pay attention to its side effects, because plastic fulfils almost every need of ours. From bowls to water bottles, everyone uses various types of plastic utensils.

Due to some chemicals present in plastic, a little plastic gets into our food and drinks. These chemicals can cause many serious health problems related to metabolic disorders and fertility.

Experts say, “When we put hot food in a plastic vessel, the chemicals from the plastic get mixed with the food. Also, a chemical called Bisphenol A (BPA) is used to make plastic utensils, which increases cancer cells by entering the body through food. Additionally, when food is heated in plastic utensils, the toxins released from it increase insulin. These release fat cells, which cause cancer.
