Navratri 2023 Day 5: Shardiya Navratri is a big festival of Hindus, which is celebrated for nine days. Tomorrow is the fifth day of Navratri. Skandamata is worshiped on this day. Saffron Kheer

Material

1 liter milk, half a cup rice, one cup sugar, 10 saffron threads, one spoon of dry fruits

Recipe

  • First of all, clean the rice, then soak it in water for some time.
  • Now boil milk in a pan, and add rice and dry fruits to it.
  • Mix this mixture well.
  • While cooking the rice, keep stirring it occasionally with the help of a large spoon.
  • Now add sugar, and cook the kheer for some time.
  • Take hot milk in a separate vessel, and add saffron threads to it.
  • When your kheer is ready, add saffron milk to it and mix well.

Sago Kheer

Material

1 cup sago, half cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cardamom powder

Recipe

  • Soak sago for 1-2 hours.
  • After this boil milk in a pan.
  • Cook sago in this until it becomes soft.
  • Now add sugar and cardamom powder into it.
  • Mix it well until the milk thickens.
  • Switch off the gas after some time.
