Eating sweet potato is considered very beneficial during winter. This sweet fruit is rich in many nutrients. Vitamins, minerals and antioxidants are present in it. Apart from this, it contains good amount of fiber and protein, which are effective in keeping the body fit and healthy. Sweet potato can provide relief from problems related to sugar, BP and digestion.

In rural areas, people like to eat it seasonally, whereas in urban areas, very few people consume it, due to which more diabetes patients appear in urban areas than in rural areas.
