Ingredients to prepare Upma
2 cups semolina
½ tsp mustard
1 dry red chilli
2 tbsp chana dal
10-12 curry leaves
¼ tsp finely chopped green chillies
¼ cup finely chopped carrots
¼ cup French beans
1 finely chopped onion
¼ cup corn kernels
Lemon juice to taste Salt
2 cups Water
2 tbsp Finely chopped coriander leaves
How to make Upma
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chili, and gram dal in it.
2. Then fry the onion in it until it turns light brown. Mix all the vegetables and keep stirring on low flame for 2 minutes.
3. Then add water and salt.
4. Add semolina and keep stirring continuously.
5. Fry the up for 2-3 minutes until it becomes dry.
6. Switch off the gas and add lemon juice to it.
7. Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
