How to make Mock Chicken Tikka

1 cup soybean chunks, ½ cup tofu (cut into small cubes), 1/4 cup gram flour, 2 tbsp cornflour, 1 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder , 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste, juice of 1 lemon, salt as per taste and oil for frying.

Method

Soak the soybean pieces in hot water for 10 minutes, then filter and squeeze them. Now add gram flour, cornflour, garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice and salt in a bowl and make a thick paste. Add soybean pieces and tofu cubes to it and mix well. Now heat oil in a pan, coat the mixture in it, make tikkas and fry them. Fry on medium flame until the tikkas become golden and crispy. Then serve it hot and enjoy it with your favorite chutney.
