How To Get Rid Of Itchy Eyebrows: Many people do not face the problem of itching in eyebrows, but this does not mean that it is not a common problem. If your eyebrows itch then there can be many reasons behind it. However, if the itching becomes severe or chronic or persists for several days, it can be a cause for concern. Persistent itching can cause the skin to peel, turn red and even affect the shape of the brows.

How to get rid of itching in your eyebrows?

Usually in winter, it is common for the eyebrows to itch due to the dyeing of the skin. Apart from this, eczema, eyebrow dandruff, and psoriasis can also cause itching in your eyebrows. If the itching is severe, a skin specialist should be consulted, but if it is normal and you do not see any signs of a skin condition, then you can get relief from some home ingredients. They are very helpful in relieving itching and burning.

Moisturize

Moisturizing your eyebrows is the first and most important step to get rid of itchiness. Sometimes, it is just dryness that causes dandruff or flaky skin. You should use a good hydrating cream to moisturize your brows, especially during winter.

Apply tea tree oil

Tea tree essential oil is very beneficial for skin problems including itching. If you think it could be an infection or inflammation, mix one drop of tea tree essential oil in one tablespoon of olive oil and massage your brows with it. This will reduce the itching and clear up any fungal or bacterial infection that is causing the itching. Do not use more than a drop or two of essential oil at a time as these are highly concentrated oils that can cause skin irritation if used in excess.

Apply lemon juice

Dandruff or dead skin cells can cause itching in the eyebrows. You can use lemon juice as an exfoliant to eliminate dead cells and reduce inflammation. For this, mix half a teaspoon of lemon juice with one teaspoon of coconut or olive oil. Apply this oil on your eyebrows and keep it for 30 minutes and then wash it. You can try this recipe twice a day until all the itching and discomfort is gone.
