Diseases occurring in the rainy season
Skin disease

A person can get skin disease in the rain. It is normal to have prickly heat, boils, etc. in this season. These skin diseases are fungal infections, which create problems due to moisture. In such a situation, people often have itching, red skin, and a burning sensation in the rain.

Prevention- To prevent the problem of skin-related diseases in monsoon, clothes should be changed immediately after getting wet in the rain. Getting wet in the rain for a long time causes disease due to moisture in the skin, so after changing clothes, dry the skin properly. Also, stay clean.

Stomach problems
People often have stomach upset during the rainy season. Digestion can become weak in the rainy season, due to which stomach problems occur. Diarrhea, vomiting, and loose motions are common in monsoons.

Prevention- Take special care of food in monsoon. Eat light food and avoid eating junk food outside. Make a habit of walking after eating so that the food can be digested.

Malaria and dengue
Cases of dengue and malaria increase the most in the rain. Due to heavy rains, rainwater accumulates in many places. This dirty water breeds mosquitoes which spread diseases like dengue, malaria, and chikungunya. In dengue, the blood platelet count decreases rapidly, which increases the risk of death for the patient.
Prevention- To prevent these diseases, do not let rainwater accumulate. Maintain cleanliness. Use mosquito repellent medicines.
