Black Tea- Black tea is proven effective in weight loss. It contains many types of antioxidants which prevent oxidation in the body. The antioxidant called polyphenol present in it keeps digestion healthy. Boosts metabolism. Boosting metabolism helps in reducing fat and burning extra calories. Experts say that weight can be maintained by drinking black tea, but the thing to remember is that it also contains caffeine, which can cause many problems if consumed in excess. Therefore drink it only in limited quantity.

Green Tea- Green tea is also considered helpful in weight loss. It contains catechin which boosts metabolism and helps in weight loss. It is believed that catechin can successfully destroy extra fats present inside the body. This tea contains Vitamin B, folate, magnesium and flavonoids which are beneficial for reducing cholesterol and also for heart health.

Which of the two is better

In terms of weight loss, both are no less than each other. Both teas have their benefits. Experts say that to stay healthy, taking either of the two teas instead of tea with milk can be beneficial. However, it is possible to get benefits only by consuming them in limited quantities.
