The objective of this scheme is to make the future of daughters bright as well as to provide them with financial security. Today we will tell you about the schemes being run by the government for daughters.

Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana
Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme is a small saving scheme. In this, you can invest for your daughter from birth to 10 years. You are given 7.6 percent interest in this scheme. In this, you have to invest a minimum of Rs 250 in a year and can invest up to a maximum of Rs 1.5 lakh.

You can invest in this scheme for 18 years. When your daughter turns 18, you can withdraw the amount from this scheme. The maturity tenure of this scheme is 21 years.

Girls Samriddhi Yojana
Balika Samridhi Yojana is like Sukanya Samridhi Yojana. In this, you are given an amount of Rs 500 after the birth of your daughter. You can open an account in the post office and bank to avail the benefits of this scheme. In this also interest is given by the government. The amount invested in this scheme can be withdrawn after your daughter completes 18 years.

CBSE UDAN SCHEME
CBSE UDAN SCHEME is being run under the Human Resource Development Ministry. In this scheme, offline and online education facilities are available for daughters. Apart from this, pre-loaded tablets along with study material are also provided by the Ministry. The objective of this scheme is to provide a platform to empower female students.

Any student studying in class XI of any recognized board in the country can apply for the benefit of this scheme. However, the benefit of this scheme will be available only to girl students in the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) stream.

Ladli Lakshmi Yojana
Ladli Laxmi Yojana is being run by the Madhya Pradesh government. Only the daughters of MP will benefit from this. Let us tell you that this scheme was started by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the year 2007.

In this, scholarship is given to daughters. In this, the government gives an amount of Rs 2,000 on the admission of a girl child in the 6th class, Rs 4,000 on admission in the 9th class, and Rs 6,000 on admission in the 12th class.

Apart from this, a final payment of Rs 1 lakh is also made for the marriage of the girl after she completes 21 years.

Maji Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme
The Maharashtra government has started the Maji Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme for daughters. In this, a joint account of the beneficiary girl and her mother is opened in the bank. Under this scheme, the daughter is given accident insurance of Rs 1 lakh and an overdraft facility of Rs 5,000.
