After which Google has identified these apps and removed them from the Google Play Store.

Google banned these apps
Apps like Calendar including TV/DMB players, news, and music downloaders have been present in the list. All these apps were media streaming, which tried to steal other data along with consuming battery by showing their targeted ads to the users. If you have any such app installed in your device then it is advised to remove it immediately.

Why were these apps dangerous?
These 43 Android apps were violating the Google Play Developer Policy. According to Google, the apps were found to be loading ads when the device's screen was off, which was draining the phone's battery very quickly. Also, the apps used up a lot of data. Not only this, they were also working to steal the personal information of users through external means. In such a situation, the possibility of banking fraud could also increase.
