In the trading session that closed on December 30, 24-carat gold climbed up to the level of Rs 54867 per 10 grams. In the same session, silver closed at Rs 68092 per kg.

If you go to buy both precious metals, then you will have to pay 3 percent GST and make charges separately. The price of 23-carat gold reached Rs 54647, 22-carat Rs 50258, and 18-carat Rs 41150 per 10 grams.

Why will gold and silver go up?

This time there have been recording marriages in November and December. In the coming days, the process of marriages will continue at the end of January and February also. According to a report, from November 2022 to February 2023, there are estimated to be 32 lakh marriages in the country.
