Gram flour laddus are famous for their special taste and aroma and are specially made on festivals, celebrations and special occasions. If you want, prepare it at home for Bappa. If you are planning to make gram flour laddu at home with an easy method, then here we are going to tell you its easy method.
Ingredients for making gram flour laddus
Gram flour - 2 cups
Ghee - 1 cup
Powdered sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Finely chopped dry fruits - almonds, cashews, pistachios
Method
To make gram flour laddus, first of all put ghee in a heavy bottom pan and heat it on low flame. Now when the ghee is hot, add gram flour to it and fry it on low flame while stirring continuously. When the gram flour becomes golden brown and a light mild fragrance starts coming from it, then understand that the gram flour is well roasted. It may take 20 minutes to roast the gram flour.
After the gram flour is roasted, add chopped dry fruits to it and fry for a few minutes so that the dry fruits also get cooked lightly. Now remove the gram flour from the flame and let it cool down a bit. When it becomes so cool that it can be held with the hand, then add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to it.
After mixing well, make the mixture uniform. Finally, take this mixture little by little in your hand and give it the shape of a round laddu. If the mixture seems too dry, then a little more ghee can be added. Prepare all the laddus in the same way and offer it as Prasad.
