There is a special reason related to Mahabharata

According to the legend, Lord Ganesha was born on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. It is believed that the writing work of Mahabharata started on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. You must be aware that Maharishi Ved Vyas composed the Mahabharata.

Let us tell you that Maharishi Ved Vyas had prayed to Lord Ganesha to write it for the creation of Mahabharata. But Ganesh ji had put a condition before him that if he starts writing, he will not stop his pen. Along with this, Lord Ganesha also said that if his pen stops, he will stop writing there.

After which, Maharishi Ved Vyas told Ganesh ji that Lord Ganesha, you are at the forefront of scholars and I am a simple sage. He also said 'If there is any mistake in any verse from me, then you will write it while correcting it.

After this, the writing of Mahabharata started. The writing of Mahabharata lasted for 10 consecutive days. On the day of Anant Chaturthi, when Ganesh ji completed the work of writing the Mahabharata, his body was covered with dust. Then Ganesha cleaned the dust and soil from his body by bathing in the Saraswati River. This is the reason that the Ganpati establishment is done for 10 days only. Then after 10 days, on Anant Chaturdashi, the idol of Ganesh ji is immersed.
