The G20 summit is going to be held in New Delhi on 9 and 10 September. G20 is also called Group of 20. It is a major platform for economic cooperation. The G20 forum plays an important role in determining international economic issues. Apart from this, the G20 also plays an important role in deciding opinions on many issues ranging from economic stability, global trade, global challenges. There is no permanent secretariat of the G20 group. A special kind of rotation system is followed between all 19 countries and the European Union. Through that the new president is elected. Nearly 24 years have passed since the formation of the G20 group. A total of 17 G20 meetings have been organized during this period. This 18th G20 summit is going to be held in New Delhi.

When and how did the G20 start?
Before 1999, Asia was going through an economic crisis.
In this view, a meeting of G8 countries was organized in Germany. G20 was formed after the meeting.
Finance ministers and central bank governors of 20 strong economies of the world were called to the G20 meeting.

The objective of this organization is the economic challenges facing the world. They had to find a solution through mutual discussion.
However, after the global recession of 2008, heads of state also began to participate.

Which countries are included in G20
A total of 19 countries in G20 (India, USA, China, Russia, Brazil, Canada, Argentina, Australia, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, UK) and European Union Are included.
