Dhanurasana

The stiffness of the shoulders gets cured by doing Dhanurasana. Provides relief from neck, back and waist pain. This brings flexibility to the muscles of the arms.

How to do Dhanurasana

  • To do this asana, spread a mat in a quiet place.
  • Now lie down on your stomach on the mat.
  • Lift the legs backwards take the hands back and hold the feet.
  • While doing this asana, your head should be completely towards the front.
  • During this posture, your body looks like a bow.
  • Remain in this posture as per your capacity.
  • During this, breathe in and out slowly.
  • Then return to normal state.

Paschimottasana

Doing Paschimottasana stretches the shoulders and provides relief from stiffness and pain in the shoulders. The shoulder muscles are flexible. This strengthens the shoulders.

How to do Paschimottasana

  • You sit on the mat in Sukhasana in a quiet place and take deep breaths.
  • Now sit with both your legs open in front.
  • Keep in mind that during this time both your toes and heels will remain together.
  • Now bend yourself forward and hold the toes of both feet with your hands.
  • Place your forehead on your knees and elbows on the ground
  • Keep yourself in this position for 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Now come into a relaxed posture while breathing.
