For a few days, the victim kept sharing the screenshot of his task in a Telegram group, then he was added to the group named 'Value Added Task' by luring him to earn more. The thugs also introduced the victim to the group admin. A digital wallet was also created for the victim who asked to invest in crypto and was given some tasks. A total of Rs 31 lakh was taken from the victim in the name of investing in crypto. A complaint has been lodged with the cyber police in this regard.
Now the question is, what is the way to avoid such scams?
First of all, do not click on any link coming from any unknown or known number.
Apart from this, if any such e-mail comes in which there is a web link, then do not open that e-mail as well.
If for some reason you have clicked on the link, do not download any app, and do not send money to anyone under any circumstances.
