Influenza is a viral infection that attacks your respiratory system such as your nose, throat, and lungs. This illness is commonly called the flu, for most people, the flu gets better on its own. But sometimes, influenza and its complications can be fatal, so you need to recognize the signs of flu in this changing season, otherwise your health may have to suffer a lot. Let us know what are the symptoms of this disease.

1. Headache
The first symptom of flu can be a severe headache. Many times you become sensitive to light and sound and then the headache starts increasing. Identify such symptoms immediately and get treated because taking a headache lightly can prove to be dangerous.

2. Fever
It is inevitable to have a fever due to the flu. In this, the body temperature can reach a high level of around 100 °F (37.8 °C) to 104 °F (40 °C). Although it is worrying, it is not uncommon for young children to have a higher fever than adults. If you have any doubt that your child has flu, contact the doctor immediately. This type of fever usually gets cured in 3 to 4 days.

3. Cough
Flu brings with it a dry and persistent cough. This cough can be uncomfortable and painful. During this, you may sometimes experience shortness of breath or chest discomfort. The cough associated with many cases of flu can last for about 2 weeks.

4. Muscle Pain
The muscle aches associated with the flu are felt in your neck, back, arms, and legs. These can often be severe, making it difficult to move even when trying to perform basic tasks.



5. Fatigue
Feeling tired is not a clear symptom of the flu. Generally feeling ill can be a sign of many conditions, however, in the case of flu these feelings of fatigue and tiredness can come on fast and be difficult to overcome.
