How to get rid of flight anxiety?
Expert Nupur advises doing two types of exercises to deal with this problem. You can do this exercise while sitting in your seat. Let us know which exercises they are.
Heart opener exercise
- To do this, rest both your hands on the armrest of your seat.
- Now push your chest forward as much as possible.
- Tilt your head backwards.
- Now in this position, breathe 5 times while counting.
- Now bring your arms forward and hug yourself.
- Keep in mind that during this time your head should be tilted downwards.
- By doing this asana you will feel very relaxed.
Bhramari Pranayam
- To do this, remain sitting in the same posture in which you are sitting and take deep and long breaths through the nose.
- Make a humming sound while exhaling.
- During this, exhale as slowly as possible and keep making humming sounds.
- This can also make you feel quite relaxed.
Keep these things in mind
- Keep your seat belt fastened.
- If you feel nervous, inform the crew member.
- Read books.
- Listen to music or watch a movie to distract yourself.
- If you are travelling with someone, distract yourself by talking to them.
- Have good snacking.
