Now a post is going viral on social media in which it is being claimed that the government is giving a loan of Rs 4,78,000 on an Aadhar card.
What is being claimed on social media?
A message is going viral on WhatsApp, Facebook, and other social media platforms in which it is being claimed that a loan of Rs 4.78 lakh is being received from the government. It is being claimed that this loan will be available to all those who have an Aadhar card. If this claim is considered true then 137.9 crore Aadhar card holders of the country will get a loan of Rs 4.78 lakh.
What did the government say on this claim?
The Fact Check team of the Press Information Bureau, while posting on X, has said that this claim being made in the name of the government is completely fake. The government is not giving any such loan. Do not fall prey to such messages and do not download any app by clicking on any link received along with the message nor share your bank information with anyone. Do not give an Aadhar card to anyone.
