If you also use Facebook then there is good news for you. Many times we read some information by clicking on a link on Facebook but later on searching again, that link is not found. Now Facebook has solved this problem. Your history will remain on Facebook for 30 days.
Facebook launches 'Link History' feature
Facebook has launched a feature called Link History which is for mobile apps. This feature will keep a list of all the websites you have visited in one place. This new feature of Facebook has been released for both iOS and Android.
Facebook's link history feature will be on by default. If you want, you can also turn it off. Although this feature is useful it is not good from a privacy point of view, because a bank of all those websites which you have ever visited will be created.
Facebook has said that the link history feature will not work with links in Messenger, that is, if someone has shared a link in Messenger, its history will not be created. Many users in India have received its popup notification.
How to turn on link history?
By default, Link History will be on, but you can turn it off by going to Settings.
Click on a profile to turn off.
Now go to Settings and Privacy of the app.
There you will see the option of link history.
Click on it to turn it off.
You can delete the link history, but after deleting it, it remains stored for 90 days.
