The first reason is that people take baths with hot water in winter. Many times people wash their face with hot water only. The face should always be washed with lukewarm water only. Hot water removes the moisture present in the skin.

Winter Skin Care Routine
- Immediately after waking up in the morning, instead of washing your face with face wash, massage your face with coconut oil. Do not use too much oil for massage, massage with only 2 to 3 drops of oil. After massage, leave your face like this for 1 hour.
- After one hour of massage, you can clean your face with face wash. You should use only cream-based face wash. This will not make the skin on your face dry.
- After washing your face, you should apply rose water or honey to your face. This makes your face deeply moisturized. You can also apply by mixing rose water and honey.
- Now after some time, wash your face once again and then use moisturizer according to your skin.
- You have to follow the same skincare routine in the morning, evening and night. If you do this throughout the winter, you can get relief from the problem of dry patches.
Why do dry patches occur?
- If you use too much makeup, it can cause dry patches. If you have to use makeup daily, then you should buy a good brand and cream-based makeup product.
- If your skin is dry then you should not take any chemical-based or light-based treatment on your skin during the winter season. This can make the skin even more dry.
- If you use fairness cream, then you should use only moisturizer-based cream till winter.
Home remedies to reduce dry patches
- Mix rose water in 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel and massage the face with it. If you follow this recipe regularly, you will benefit a lot.
- Mix 2 drops of tea tree oil in petroleum jelly and massage the face with it. If you do this before sleeping at night, damaged skin can also be repaired.
- Apply milk cream on the face and massage with light hands. By doing this the dryness of the skin will also go away. But do not leave the cream on your face for too long because it can cause pimples on your face. You should wash your face after half an hour.

- Do not clean the face with water or face wash again and again. This can make your skin more dry.
- If there are pimples on the skin, then you should not pop or scratch them. This can also cause dry patches on the skin.
- You should not apply any kind of makeup on your face before sleeping at night. If you sleep with makeup on, you may also suffer from dry patches.
