What is endometriosis
The tissue of the uterus is called the endometrium. Growing of such tissue in some other parts causes the problem of endometriosis. It can affect the ovaries and the wall of the uterus. It causes painful menstruation, heavy periods, chronic pelvic pain, back pain as well as infertility.
About 30 to 50 percent of women suffering from endometriosis may experience infertility. Due to this condition, the functioning of the reproductive organ is affected. For pregnancy , an egg is released in the ovaries of women, which is fertilized by a sperm cell through the fallopian tube and automatically attaches itself to the uterine wall to develop, but endometriosis blocks the fallopian tube, while this The quality of eggs is affected. This prevents the woman from getting pregnant, but it does not mean complete infertility. This may reduce fertility which can be challenging.
Endometriosis treatment
