Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, is no longer free. Ever since Elon Musk became the owner of X, his entire focus has been on the earnings from this platform. Every day, Elon Musk comes up with new ideas to earn money. Now Elon Musk has said that all users will have to pay to use X. This new subscription model of X is also being tested and may be released soon.
There will be a fee of one dollar
To use This fee will be for basic features of X like likes and re-posts. If you pay a fee, you'll also be able to bookmark any post on the web version. The new feature has been named Not Now Bot.
The new feature is currently being tested in New Zealand and the Philippines. During this test, existing users will not face any problems, but new users who do not want to pay money will only get the facility to view posts, watch videos, and follow the account. You will not be able to use features like bookmarks.
Elon Musk had a problem with X from the beginning regarding bot accounts and this problem persists to this day. It is being said that Elon Musk has taken this decision only to eliminate the bot account. Earlier in July, X had limited the viewing of posts.
