Water is essential for health, but it is also important to keep in mind when and in what quantity it should be consumed. Generally, maximum consumption of water is considered beneficial for health. Doctors and health experts recommend drinking plenty of water. In such a situation, most people are aware of the maximum intake of water, but very few people are aware of the intake of water as per their physical condition and time.

Today here we are talking about one such special situation, about which many people are curious. Some people feel thirsty immediately after bathing. A common question of such people is how appropriate is it to drink water immediately after bathing. So let us tell you that we have brought the answer to this question quoting health experts. We asked Dr. V.K., senior physician of Raj Hospital, Noida, about this. Singh and am sharing the information received from him with you here.

Why do you feel thirsty immediately after bathing?

Dr V.K. Singh explains that the reason for feeling thirsty immediately after bathing is the difference in external and internal temperature of the body. In such a situation, as soon as you come out of the bath, you feel thirsty. But this is not the right time to drink water.

Drinking water immediately after bathing can be harmful

Dr. V.K. Singh explains that drinking water immediately after bathing can be harmful. Massaging your body while bathing increases blood circulation. In such a situation, when you drink water immediately, it puts additional pressure on the blood and the blood pressure can become unbalanced.

Apart from this, due to increased physical activity during bathing, heartbeat also increases, in such a situation, drinking water after stopping for a while is good for health. Otherwise drinking water immediately can lead to uncontrolled heart rate.

However, consuming water shortly after bathing controls blood pressure and heart rate. In such a situation, if you feel thirsty immediately after bathing, then it would be better for you to wait for some time to drink water, until the internal state of the body, which changed during bathing, becomes calm again.

Drinking water even immediately after these actions is harmful

Apart from bathing, drinking water between and immediately after eating also proves to be harmful to health. This has a bad effect on digestion and can cause stomach-related problems. Therefore, it is advisable to consume water only 30 to 45 minutes after eating. At the same time, drinking water in sunlight or immediately after coming from outside is considered harmful to health. This causes a sudden change in the internal temperature of the body which is harmful to health.

Apart from these, the consumption of water immediately after a workout, exercise or any kind of strenuous physical activity is considered harmful. Regarding this, our health expert Dr. V.K. Singh explains that during workout or exercise, both blood pressure and heart rate increase significantly. In such a situation, it is better to wait for some time and drink water after such activities.

One should never consume water in a hurry after exercise, rather one should consume it slowly. For this, it would be better to sip water instead of drinking the entire bottle in one go.
