Dussehra 2023: According to the Panchang, Dashami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month in the year 2023 is starting from 5.44 pm on 23 October 2023 and will continue till 3.14 pm on 24 October 2023. Therefore, according to Udaya Tithi, Vijayadashami will be celebrated on 24th October this year. Weapon worship is done on Vijayadashami. On this day, Shastra Puja will be done in Vijay Muhurta. Vijay Muhurta on 24th October is from 01:46 pm to 02:31 pm. Apart from this, Abhijeet Muhurta, or auspicious time of that day is from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm.
