Well, who does not like to travel by flight? It feels great to fly in the air and feel a different experience….especially for those who sit in an aeroplane for the first time. However, those who sit first on the flight know the rules related to the airport. Such rules which you have to pay a lot of attention to from your accessories to your dress.

Dubai Airport is quite different in these matters… because it is one of the busiest airports in the world. Every day thousands of flights land and take off here. There are many such rules related to flight security checking, which tell how you can travel properly.

Are things not allowed in flight? But many times unknowingly people keep such things with them, which can put them in trouble and taking them on the flight can also be considered a legal offence.

Food items

It may sound a bit strange to you, but there are indeed some food items at Dubai airport that we cannot carry. In these things, do not carry herbals, tobacco, poppy seeds, opium seeds, powder, betel leaves, some herbs etc. to the airport even by mistake.

If you can't even take such bakery items, in which flax seeds are used. You cannot take canned food on the flight. Even if these foods are sealed packs, they will be stopped during screening.

Electronic items

You might be surprised to know that there are some electronic items which are allowed to be carried on the flight. It cannot carry portable electronic devices with non-spillable batteries, batteries, cells, etc. However, if you are carrying a battery, that must be under provision A67 made by IATA.

Under this rule, the voltage should not exceed 12 volts and the watt-hour rating should not exceed 100 watt-hours. A maximum of 2 spare batteries can be carried.

Sharp objects

This is very common, about which almost all people will know. If you do not know then tell that needle, compass of geometry box or nail cutter in beauty kit ….you cannot take them with you.

They can go in checked baggage, but not together. You cannot carry them under any condition. On the other hand, if you have put safety pins on your clothes, they are also taken off in flights.

Can't go wearing obscene clothes. It is necessary to talk to the flight staff politely. Smoking is prohibited in flight. Don't do this at all. Wearing a mask has become very important after Covid.
