Niramaya Yojana

Niramaya Yojana of the Government of India is an insurance scheme. Which has been brought especially for the Divyangjans. Only Divyangjans can apply for this insurance scheme. Under the Niramaya Insurance Scheme, medical cover of up to Rs 1 lakh is given. OPD, treatment, medicines, surgery, medical tests, and all kinds of things are covered in this scheme.

There is no need to get any test done beforehand to apply for the scheme. In the scheme, disabled people coming from BPL families have to pay Rs 250. On the other hand, those disabled people who do not come under the category of BPL families have to pay Rs 500 for this.

Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme
Disabled people are also given a disability allowance by the government. Under this, a pension has been arranged. Under the Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme, disabled people are given a pension of ₹ 1500 every month. For this, the a disability certificate issued by the government. In the pension of ₹ 1500, ₹ 1200 is given by the state government, while ₹ 300 is given by the central government.
