Today we will tell you how to make creamy onion curry. You must be wondering after hearing the combination of cream and onion. You might be wondering what kind of dish this is. How does it taste? Let us tell you that this is a very tasty vegetable provided it is prepared properly. This vegetable can be served at both lunch and dinner. Whether you want to eat it with roti or rice, it doesn't matter. It is not very difficult to prepare it at home.

Ingredients
Fresh cream – 1 bowl
Onion – 250 grams
Tomato – 2
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Mustard – 1/4 tsp
Dry red chilli – 2
Green coriander leaves chopped – 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 8-10
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt – as per taste

Recipe
- First of all, remove the upper peel of the onion and then wash it and cut it into medium-sized pieces. Some people also use whole onions.
- Now put oil in the pan and heat it on medium flame. After the oil is hot, add cumin, mustard, and curry leaves and fry.
- After a few seconds, add whole red chilies and then add chopped onion pieces and fry while stirring.
- When the onion starts becoming slightly soft, add red chili powder, coriander powder, asafoetida, and other spices and salt, mix with a ladle and let it cook.
- Let the onion cook until the oil starts rising.


- After this add finely chopped tomatoes and let the vegetables cook for 5 minutes.
- When the tomatoes become completely soft, add fresh cream to the pan and mix with the help of a spoon.
Now cover the pan and let the vegetables cook for 2-3 minutes. During this time, stir the vegetables 1-2 times.
- Finally, add one spoon of lemon juice to the vegetable and turn off the gas.
- Take out the vegetable in a bowl garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or rice.
