Green leafy vegetables

Consuming green leafy vegetables is considered very good for breast cancer patients. For example, you should include green leafy vegetables like kale, spinach, and mustard green in your diet. These green leafy vegetables contain carotenoid antioxidants, including beta-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin.

Due to these antioxidants, the risk of breast cancer is reduced to a great extent. Some research has also found that folate in green leafy vegetables can help protect against breast cancer.

Cruciferous vegetables

Consuming cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower broccoli etc. is also considered very good for breast cancer patients. They contain phytochemicals called isothiocyanates and indoles which reduce the risk of certain types of cancer, including breast cancer.
