In the digital age, online scams have become a matter of concern across the world and it is a serious matter in India too. With the increase in online transactions and digital communication, the risk of becoming a victim of cyber fraud has increased rapidly. The past few months have also seen a rise in online fraud cases in India, with people losing money to scams like part-time job scams, YouTube video scams, and free iPhone scams.

That means one mistake and in one second your entire earnings can go into the hands of fraudsters. In such a situation, it becomes important to report the scam immediately. One can directly go to the police station to lodge a complaint or visit the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, an online platform designed to facilitate the reporting of cyber crimes. In fact, this should be reported within 24 hours so that the police can immediately track the transaction. However, the sooner you report, the better your chances of getting your money back.
