CUET UG 2024 To Be Conducted In Offline Mode: A large number of candidates are waiting for the registration of CUET UG 2024 to start. Meanwhile, another big news related to the examination is coming out. According to this, the exam will be conducted offline for the subjects for which a large number of applications will come, such as 1.5 lakh or more. Earlier it was reported that from this year the examination will be conducted in both online and offline mode. Now according to the TOI report, the latest update is that the subjects for which there will be more than 1.5 lakh applicants will be conducted offline.
The exam will be held in a single shift
The second news related to CUET is that most of the papers will be conducted in a single shift. With this, there will be no need for a normalization process. This is needed when there is a multi-session exam. Earlier the news was that the exam would be conducted in hybrid i.e. both offline and online mode. Now it is clear for which subjects this can be done.
The date may be finalized this week
The report further states that it is likely that the registration and other details for the examination will be finalized this week. Experts of the CUET Advisory Committee, which includes representatives of Central Universities, UGC and NTA officials, can meet and finalize things.
Registration may start at the end of the month
According to NTA, registration can start at the end of this month. The exam dates have already been released, according to which the exam will be conducted between 15 to 31 May 2024.
Apart from the large number of applicants, the examination can also be conducted offline for these states where online arrangements are not made properly. Like Kashmir, Jharkhand, and some areas of North East.
New changes are welcome
Regarding this, VinayDua of Exam Factor says that the announcements of recent changes made in CUET UG are welcome. This will increase the participation of more and more candidates and make this examination accessible to more and more people.
