So let us tell you about all the properties of coriander which is a boon for your health. Coriander is nectar for your stomach. It works for acidity, migraine, headache, excessive bleeding, excessive thirst, thyroid, diabetes, cholesterol, fatty liver, obesity, indigestion, hormonal imbalance, and even as a wonderful Ayurvedic detox.
Ayurvedic Properties of Coriander (seeds and leaves):-
Rasa (Taste) – Kashaya (Astringent), Tikta (Bitter)
Guna (qualities) – Laghu (light to digest), Snigdha (greasy, oily)
Vipaka (post-digestive effect) – madhura (sweet)
Veerya (power) – Ushna (warm)

Here's how to consume it for thyroid and other lifestyle disorders:
Just soak 1 teaspoon ground coriander in 1 glass of water overnight. Boil it till it reduces to half in the morning, strain it, and enjoy this aromatic mood-boosting and metabolism-boosting coriander drink. You can also add curry leaves and dry rose petals while boiling for more benefits.
Take it 1 hour after taking your thyroid pill (if you are taking the pill now). It is best to avoid drinking/eating anything other than plain water for one hour after taking your pill.
Here's how to consume it for overheated disorders (bleeding, acidity, burning):
1. Take a portion of crushed coriander seeds. (Example: 25 grams)
2. Add six parts water (eg: 150ml)
3. Keep it covered at night or for 8 hours.
4. Next morning, filter it and take it on an empty stomach with some sugar candy.
Can also be taken in a dosage of 10 to 30 ml 2-3 times daily with rock sugar. These miraculous properties of coriander take full care of your health, so it is necessary to include it in your diet.
