Ingredients required to make jowar upma-

1 cup jowar flour

1/2 cup onion finely chopped

1/2 cup semolina

1/2 cup boiled green peas (optional)

2 tsp green chili paste

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

1-2 pinches asafoetida

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp Spoon urad dal

8-10 curry leaves chopped

1 lemon

1-2 tbsp oil

Salt to taste

How to make jowar upma?

To make jowar upma, first of all, take onion and curry leaves and chop them finely.

Then peel the peas and put them in a vessel and boil them.

After this, put oil in a pan and heat it.

Then add mustard seeds and urad dal to it and fry for a few seconds.

After that add curry leaves and asafoetida and fry for a few more seconds.

Then put onion in the pan and fry for 1 minute.

After this, put semolina in it and fry it on medium flame.

Then put jowar flour in it and fry it for 2 minutes while stirring.

After this, add green chili paste, peas, coriander leaves, and salt as per taste.

Then add 3 cups (as per requirement) of water and mix it.

After this, cook it on a medium flame for about 2-3 minutes.

Then finally add lemon juice to it and mix it and turn off the gas.

Now your taste and nutrition-rich Jowar Upma are ready.
