You can easily make coconut laddus at home. Try this easy-to-make coconut truffle recipe that you can make at home with just a few ingredients like coconut powder, white chocolate, whipping cream, butter, vanilla extract and coconut flakes.

Coconut gives the truffles a chewy texture and white chocolate, whipping cream, and butter give your taste buds a melt-in-your-mouth experience. Since we have used white chocolate here, we have not used additional sugar in the recipe as the sweetness of the chocolate is sufficient for truffles. Be it, kids or adults, everyone will like this recipe very much.

Coarsely chop the white chocolate and add it to a bowl with the whipping cream. Use the double boiler method to melt it. In this method, half fill a vessel with water and keep it on high flame and let it boil. After the water starts boiling, place a bowl of white chocolate on the vessel.

Now put butter in the bowl and mix. Let it melt too. Give a good mix and once a smooth mixture is formed, take it off the heat. Now add coconut powder along with vanilla extract to the melted chocolate. Use a spatula or spoon to mix and make a thick mixture. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Now cover it with a lid or cling film and keep it in the freezer for a few hours. 2-3 hours is sufficient for the mixture to retain its shape.
