How To Clean Crystal Utensils: Even though we use steel utensils for daily use at home, we often serve recipes to guests in glass plates, bowls, and glasses. This is because crystal items are very attractive to look at, but their maintenance is a bit difficult as compared to metal utensils. Water or detergent stains often accumulate on it, which can spoil the beauty of the glassware. So let's know how you can easily clean crystal utensils.
Ways to clean glassware
1. Do not use hard or normal water to clean the glass, as it causes blurriness. You can use vinegar for this. Dip the glass items in a solution of white vinegar and then wipe it with a clean cloth.
2. If you use normal water and dishwashing liquid to wash glassware, plates, and bowls, do not let the water freeze on them after cleaning, as this causes stains to settle. For this, wipe them with a clean cotton cloth.
3. The use of baking powder can be very effective in removing stains on glass utensils. For this, first wet those places where the stains are getting accumulated. After this spread them with the help of a finger or soft brush.
4. You can also use a toothbrush to make the glassware shine like new. For this, apply toothpaste on a brush and rub it with light hands on the inner and outer parts of the crystal. Then wash it with clean water and wipe it with a cotton cloth.
5. Many times we light a candle by sticking it on a glass or other vessel. Due to this, the layer of wax starts freezing on the glass and then it becomes difficult to get rid of them. Never clean it by rubbing, but first, keep the glassware in lukewarm water and then clean it with the help of a sponge.
