half kilo bottle gourd
half cup gram dal
rock salt
half a teaspoon turmeric powder
about a cup of water
two chopped green chillies

To make this, first of all, mix bottle gourd and gram dal with a cup of water in the cooker. After this, add turmeric and rock salt to it and boil it. After two whistles, turn off the gas. After turning off the gas, check whether the dal has cooked or not. If it is cooked then start preparing the tempering.

Half teaspoon cumin, one-fourth teaspoon asafoetida, one to two teaspoons ghee, one to two dry red chilies, and two to three bay leaves.

To make rice, you just have to soak 1 bowl of Arwa rice for 30 minutes. After this, put twice the amount of rice in the pressure cooker and let it cook. After one whistle your rice is ready.
