Microsoft-owned OpenAI's AI tool ChatGPT is about to get a new update. OpenAI's first developer advocate and developer relations expert says that a major set of updates for ChatGPT will be released in the next week. In the new update, users will get many features, including prompts, suggestion replies, and followup questions.

The update will be released next week
OpenAI's first developer advocate and developer relations expert, Logan Kilpatrick, posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the new update. He said that the company is going to release the new update next week. Kilpatrick also highlighted some upcoming features.

He added that the new update will also get a default GPT-4 setting with example prompts, suggestion replies, and followup questions so that users using the paid version of ChatGPT Plus can get the new updates without the need to toggle. He added that the new update will allow all users to upload multiple files at a time when using the OpenAI Code Interpreter plugin when users start a new chat.

Simply put, after the new update, the chatbot can suggest questions to users based on their search history. At the same time, according to the language and search of the users, the chatbot will also answer. For example, if the user wants an answer in Hindi, the chatbot will mostly answer in Hindi. At the same time, the text-based interface is quite powerful in conversation, but users still do not like to see empty text boxes, for this, the company is adding a section with suggestion replies.

The company said in a blog post that custom instructions are currently available in the beta version for Plus users, and we plan to roll it out to all users soon. He added that users can edit or remove custom instructions for new conversations at any time.
