Char Dham Yatra 2023 Update, Kedarnath Yatra: Char Dham Yatra has started. Although the doors of Kedarnath Dham will be opened only on 25 April.

Speaking to PTI, the Additional Administrative Commissioner of Garhwal Division and Additional Chief Executive Officer of Char Dham Yatra Administration Organisation, Narendra Singh Kaviriyal said that "Due to inclement weather and heavy snowfall, registration of pilgrims for Kedarnath Yatra has been delayed at Haridwar and In Rishikesh, it has been suspended till April 30.

The Char Dham Yatra started on the day of Akshaya Tritiya.
Let us inform you that on 22 April 2023, the Char Dham Yatra started on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. On this day the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham were opened and on April 25 the doors of Kedarnath Dham and on April 27 the doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened.

So far more than 16 lakh people have registered
Officially, more than 16 lakh people from India and abroad have registered for the Char Dham Yatra so far. Along with this, for the convenience of the people and forecasting the weather, the government has advised them to keep warm clothes with them. Along with this, it has also been told that due to bad weather in between, the pilgrims may also have to face some problems. However, concrete arrangements have been made by the administration during the yatra.

Guidelines have been issued for travel
Health Secretary Dr. Rajesh Kumar has told that "Guidelines and SOPs have been issued for the journey." In this, the passengers have to adapt their bodies to the mountain weather during the journey. If you face any difficulty during the journey, give them rest for some time and then start your journey.
