There will be many challenges this year
This year's Char Dham has brought with it many challenges. The most burning issue is the issue of landslides in Joshimath, the gateway to Badrinath Dham. Recently, dangerous cracks were noticed in several areas in and around Joshimath, after which the local people had to leave their homes for a while. In such a situation, this area is still in a very critical condition and the government's attention will be focused on ensuring that the devotees reach their homes safely after offering darshan.

As per the latest reports, fresh cracks have appeared near Joshimath on the Badrinath Highway. However, the Uttarakhand state government has assured the pilgrims that the current geological problem will not hinder the Char Dham Yatra
